The 'Possum
Yikes! It’s true! A baby possum is in the house. You aren’t sure how long it has been there and you run to tell Mitch and Shannon. They sheepishly explain how it arrived during their Easter party and multiple attempts to trap it have failed. As you walk by the living room, you all see it peeking behind the train table. Mitch grabs a bucket to trap it and as he gets closer we all see it is perfectly still. At first we think it’s “playing possum,” but alas, it finally died of a little possum heart attack. Relieved, they scoop it up quickly and dispose of the beast. After this experience you aren’t really sure what to think of Mitch and Shannon – they seem like good people but it’s kind of whack they had this possum in their house for a few weeks…
