This year we really thought we would make things simple by creating a postcard and just sending it out, but then one thing led to another and here we are at the end of 2018 with a full blown website. As a family member commented “no one is going to look through all of this, but it’s nice for you to have this family history for yourselves.” Reality struck that we actually do this every year more for us and hope our family and friends laugh along with (and at) us during the process. Here is to a memorable 2018 and hoping that 2019 allows us each to choose the right path for the adventure we seek. But if we take a wrong turn and run into a pesky possum, we have the strength, energy, and support of family and friends to take another pass and try again.

I’m guessing this killed less trees and you’ll get fewer return mail. I so enjoy your Christmas cards and thankfully got myself on them so many years ago. Perhaps all your hard work should go into a book or a guide to making Christmas cards less…uh “cardy”? Happy Holidays!
