You cannot believe you are at another one of these parties! They seem to last all day with children running around like crazies, then when the sun goes down it descends into an adult stupor. Shannon walks around with her Bed Bath and Beyond candlestick that doubles as a makeshift chalice and Mitch whips up a signature cocktail with a homemade simple syrup. You realize they create the setting, but their amazing group of friends make the party. How lucky they are to surround themselves with the goodness of others!
You sit back and relax, happy in the knowledge that the year has been an amazing one. You’ve made a series of choices that have all worked out, you even managed to avoid the possum! Even when things seemed a bit tricky, you just tried again. You are really looking forward to 2019!
