Shannon and Mitch explain that holiday card planning begins in July, a theme is selected, photos evaluated, and copy written – you think “this sounds kind of crazy.” They go on to mention that no matter how hard they plan, they always have BIG issues with the post office – they open a drawer to reveal dozens of returned cards from years past. You meet some folks that help out in the annual ‘construction party’ and think “they are pretty lucky to have such great friends.” This year they vow to do something simpler that won’t require any additional postage. You wonder, “what do I need to do to get to get on this holiday card list?”
